  • The inaugural meeting of the 16th Regional Business Days under the theme: “Strengthening Business Ties and Consolidating Openness to Build a Strong Trade Momentum for the Future.”

As part of its mission to boost commercial activity in the region and strengthen ties between merchants, professionals, and relevant institutions, the Chamber of Commerce, Industry, and Services of the Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceima region, in partnership with the Tetouan Municipalitylocal authorities, the Provincial Tax Directorate, and the Tetouan Bar Association, launched the 16th edition of the Regional Business Days on Friday, May 2, 2025, at 5:00 PM, at the headquarters of the Tetouan Bar Association.

This edition, which will run from May 2 to May 29, 2025, was inaugurated under the presidency of Mr. Abdelhamid Hassissene, Vice President of the Chamber, in the presence of a wide range of Chamber members, including:
Mr. Anouar Arbaoui (Vice President), Mr. Mostafa Bennaji (Chamber Secretary), Mr. Mostafa Ben Abdelghafour, Mr. Mohamed Karim Essouti, Mr. Yassine El Aroud, Mr. Abdelilah Jarjour, Mr. Azmizem, Mr. Abdessalam Souleimani, Mr. Mounir Haddouthi Bouzlemat, Mr. Zoubir Azzouz, Mr. Mohamed Taha El Asri, Mr. Mohamed Tounati, Mr. Abdelmalek El Koutit, Mr. Mohamed Essafiani, Mrs. Fatima Zahra Boulaich, and Mrs. Randa El Hanfi.

Also in attendance were numerous representatives of the local economic and commercial sector, as well as economic and civil stakeholders from the region.

The ceremony began with the recitation of Quranic verses and the national anthem, followed by opening speeches delivered by:

  • Mr. Abdelhamid Hassissene, Vice President of the Chamber,

  • Mr. Toufiq El Boursh, Vice President of the Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceima Regional Council,

  • Mr. Ibrahim Bensbih, President of the Provincial Council of Tetouan,

  • Mr. Mostafa El Bakouri, President of the Tetouan Municipality,

  • Mr. Idriss Aftis, representing the Tetouan Bar Association,

  • Mr. El Hussein Kerkour El MiadProvincial Tax Director of Tetouan.

These speeches unanimously praised the Chamber’s ongoing efforts to represent its members and foster active dialogue with institutions involved in the regional trade sector.

The launch featured a series of presentations on the key updates of the 2025 Finance Law, led by officials from the Tetouan Tax Directorate and the President of the Regional Council of Chartered Accountants. These sessions highlighted the year’s major fiscal reforms and provided practical explanations for the attending merchants and professionals.

The event concluded with an open discussion, where speakers addressed participants’ questions, followed by the presentation of certificates and honorary trophies to the institutions that contributed to organizing this major economic event.
